Join Decoded Futures’ new cohort

Decoded Futures at Tech:NYC is a capacity-building initiative that equips social sector leaders with the tools, networks, and skills to use AI to build organizational capacity, scale your impact, and better serve your communities.

Work with other nonprofit leaders and technologists from some of New York’s leading tech companies to discover how best to use AI to deepen your organization’s impact. Apply by Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Format

  • In-person, with all sessions in Manhattan

Requirement

  • Participants must commit to attending all sessions

Should I Apply?

We're excited to hear from NYC-based social sector organizations. As nonprofit colleagues, we understand how precious your time is and want to be transparent about program expectations.

We're looking for nonprofit leaders who:

  • Will commit to attending all sessions and actively engaging with the cohort. We recommend two senior leaders per organization.

  • Can implement AI solutions at an organization with a flexible and evolving technology policy

  • Have experience with design frameworks, or are committed to learning and applying them to solve organizational challenges

  • Lead social/civic sector work that actively supports New Yorkers

  • We recommend each participating organization send two senior leaders for this program.

  • Absolutely! In fact, we recommend two people from each organization join the cohort.

  • You can expect to come away with a better understanding of foundational AI concepts, AI-powered optimizations to your personal workflow, and 1-2 prototypes for deeper AI implementations that your organization might benefit from.

  • Decoded Futures is for social sector leaders who are ready to build the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to lead AI adoption in their organizations.

  • In addition to the in-person Decoded Futures sessions, we ask participants to spend 1-2 hours each week moving forward on their AI strategy.

  • Thanks to the support of Google.org, Robin Hood Learning + Technology Fund, Salesforce, Altman Foundation, Siegel Family Endowment, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and AWS, this cohort is offered at no cost for participating organizations.
